Tina Gresham, M.D.


Dr.Tina Gresham M.D.

Native of Long Island, New York: Tina C. Gresham. M.D., is a dual-degree graduate from Howard University, earning her M.D. degree from the College of Medicine in 1987 proceded by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1975.

While at Howard University, she also served as Clinical Specialist in Oncology and Critical Care Nursing. At Duke University from 1987-1993, Dr. Gresham completed her internal medicine internship and residency programs and a fellowship in Cardiology.

Dr. Gresham is a fellow member of the American College of Cardiology and holds active memberships in several professional organizations including the American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association, and the Association of Black Cardiologists.

She has published numerous articles pertaining to diet and preventive lifestyles as well as cardiovascular disease in the American population. Dr. Gresham was the keynote speaker at the Middle Tennessee American Heart Association Go Red Campaign luncheon in 2007 and serves as a frequent lecturer and information resources to health professionals and community health education programs on metabolic syndrome and its long-term impact on cardiovascular health.
